FAQ

How long do your candles burn?

Our candles provide approximately 40-60 hours of burn time when cared for properly — trim the wick to 5mm before each burn and keep away from drafts.

Do candles expire?

Candles don't technically expire but can degrade over time. Store yours in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and use within 12-18 months for the best scent throw.

What wax do you use?

All Yves London candles are hand-poured using a natural coconut and rapeseed wax blend — clean burning and kind to your home.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes — free UK delivery on all orders over £30. Orders under £30 are £3.99. Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days and arrive within 2-3 working days.

Can I return a candle?

We accept returns on defective items only. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.

How do I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn, allow the wax to melt to the edges on the first burn, and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

How do I care for my reed diffuser?

Flip the reeds every few days to refresh the scent. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources to slow evaporation and extend the life of your diffuser. Most diffusers last 8-12 weeks depending on room size and ventilation.

How do I use my car diffuser?

Hang the car diffuser from your rear view mirror or place in a cup holder. Adjust the intensity by opening or closing the vent. Keep out of direct sunlight and avoid contact with plastic surfaces as oils may cause damage.

How do I use my room spray?

Spray 3-4 times into the centre of the room or onto soft furnishings such as cushions, curtains or bedding. Hold the bottle 30cm away from fabric. Avoid spraying directly onto delicate fabrics or polished surfaces.

Are your products safe around pets and children?

We recommend burning candles and using diffusers in well-ventilated rooms. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Some fragrance oils may be harmful to cats and dogs — if you have pets, ensure the room is ventilated and your pet can leave freely.
